Hai-Leng-Ong the Greatest Dragon Island 

Phuket, or the island of the greatest dragon, follows a forecast from a fortune teller

around 100 years ago. The hill, beach, Cape and bay look like parts of a dragon.

Phromthep cape is  the nose; Tung-Kah bay is the mouth; Toh-Sae Hill is the heart; 

and tin ore is a spine that stretches along the prosperous Sarasin Bridge. This is the

origin of "Hai-Leng-Ong" which welcomes worldwide tourists nowadays.

     อ่าวทุ่งคา หัวใจคือเขาโต๊ะแซะ กระดูกสันหลังที่ขดไปทั่วเกาะคือสายแร่ดีบุกที่สร้างความมั่งคั่งในอดีต และปลายหางที่ทอดยาวจนถึงสะพานสารสิน

     เป็นที่มาของประติมากรรม "ฮ่ายเหล่งฮ๋อง" ที่คอยต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกในปัจจุบัน
